Biography

Mixed media artist, Brooke Weston, works primarily with taxidermy and other found objects to create surreal dioramas. She spent her early life in Monterey, California and currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Always drawing and painting throughout her childhood, she later found her true outlet in creating three dimensional worlds inside of objects. Her work is inspired by nature, children\'s toys and modern surreal art.

Brooke has had various shows in Portland and out of state. She is a proud contributor to the Rogue Taxidermy association, and participates in their taxidermy shows in Los Angeles at the La luz De Jesus Gallery. She frequently shows throughout Portland and continues to create new work.
